We joined the Sasser family in 2003 when our home was completed. I know that statement may sound odd to you, but it is the truth…we have been treated like family since our first meeting with Eric. Since that day, almost a full 20 years ago, we have become huge fans of Eric and his team, especially Ray Street, our project manager. Here’s why: Teamwork. When you need something done, it gets done. There were a few corrections needed along the way during our build, all managed with Ray’s personal motto, “No problem!” He gets things fixed and you never know how much stress it caused him to get it done, he just makes it right. Also, when we had things crop up over the years, the Sasser team was always there to help. Whether it was a recommendation, a phone number, or a personal bit of assistance, things were always fixed and we were happy. While some contractors are unwilling to help with small jobs (hot water heater replacement, etc.), Ray was always there with a phone number of who we could contact to help us out, and everyone he recommended always performed to the Sasser Standard (my term for the work ethic of everyone who works for Eric). Dedication. When you build with Sasser, they stand by you as long as you live in the home. Ray came over with no notice when we had a treatment company attempting to remove our garage steps (to treat the area underneath), and removed/replaced the steps himself (we had been living here 10+ years). That is the response we get every time we have needed to reach out, people who are always willing and ready to help without question or delay, something that is next to impossible to find these days. Timeliness. Our home, back in the day, took six months to complete. We closed on the exact day Eric said we would. Any concerns or questions were always answered, someone always called us back if we left a message, and it never feels like they are bothered by your need for assistance or information, they just take care of you and everyone is happy. No need for endless call backs, unreturned messages, and frustration-the job just gets done. Friendliness. Everyone is so nice, always welcoming, and cares about you. Just last week, in preparation for selling our home, we had a concern raised by an inspector. I called Ray, and he was over here the same day to see what was going on. It was a minor issue that we were able to take care of ourselves, but the fact that he took his own personal time for a house he helped build 20 years ago, is simply remarkable. He came inside and it was like no time had passed at all-before long we were sharing pictures of our kids talking like old friends. Eric and Shirley provided a wonderful welcome basket on our move-in day, which was very special to us and much appreciated-a great personal touch. Also, and this has to be noted: prior to the pandemic, Eric and his wife hosted an annual catered party for all of their clients and staff. We were invited every year, and the party got larger each time, but it was a terrific time (live music, wonderful food/drinks) and such a generous ‘thank you’ to all of the staff, homeowners, and everyone who worked for them. Dear Eric Sasser, I would really like to take this time to express our sincere gratitude to you and your staff, for your patience, professionalism and commitment to building our home. It has been a long process, but the end result has been well worth the wait. You delivered on everything you promised and even some things we didn’t know to ask for, and we are now grateful for your guidance. You and your staff have been exceptional in your dedication to doing the right thing the right way and providing an outstanding level of customer service. Although several people from your staff have been involved at some point or other we really would like to acknowledge Lynne Niemi, Matt Hovey and Sandra Figeac for their support and efforts during the entire building process. This also would not have been possible without the efforts of Kristen Froehlich from Townebank, and we thank her for her diligence and dedication during the long loan process. I’ll always remember what you said as we walked through the lot for the first time. “I look forward to building your home.” Now as I stand in that same spot (which is now my living room) I am very grateful that Sasser Construction was my builder. We’ve wanted to send you a thank you email for a couple of weeks now, but now just finally getting around to it. I had the intention of telling you a couple of weeks back, when I picked up the house keys, but the office meeting threw me off. First we just want to thank for making this easy. There is no doubt, we couldn't have had a better home building experience. I’m pretty sure Beth has referred you to about a hundred people already. The house turned out great, made very easy by your staff, from Ray to Tina to Sandra to all of the subs, especially Mike and Neil. Ray was and is always available and willing to help, he does a great service to the the Sasser brand. It’s very recognizable he takes pride building a great house and giving us what we wanted. There are so many things we could compliment or thank you on, but will keep it a few. We appreciate how you handled the stolen wire situation, certainly took some stress off of us. Your advice on some of the house decisions, like the garage extension was spot on. The little touches/upgrades inside turned out awesome and give the house a unique feel. Our girls love the house too, that’s good since this is the home they will grow up in. We look forward to seeing you out and about, so we can thank you in person.

I cannot speak well enough of the Sasser team. Ray, one of the many project managers, gave me a thorough walk through of the property and has been available for small concerns. He cares about the residents and the community. Kelly has also been outstanding and responsive, in the punch list. I personally did not build my house. My home was completed prior to move in, and thus I cannot comment on the building side of Sasser. But I can say, post move in, I have found the Sasser team very responsive, caring, and easy to work with despite huge labor shortages, COVID, and overall national obstacles that face this company.
