Sasser Construction has assembled a team of
dedicated and experienced professionals who are committed to your satisfaction. Our motto,
"It’s a Team Thing", is a philosophy shared by all of us. The following
Team members are here to serve you, the homebuyer:
Eric Sasser – Eric is the
president of Sasser Construction, and has been in the residential construction business
since 1986. Eric has building in his blood as his father began building homes in 1968
after retiring from the Navy. Eric is a native of Tidewater and is married with two
children.
Byron Black – Byron has been a
project manager with Sasser Construction since 1995. He has been in the residential
construction industry for over 20 years. Byron is a native of Tidewater, is married and
has two sons.
Sandra Figeac – Sandra has been
the operations manager with Sasser Construction since 1992. Among a myriad of other
responsibilities, Sandra is the link that connects the office to the field through
communication with the project managers and customers. Sandra is a native of the Western
Branch section of Chesapeake, is married and has three sons.
Kelly Melton -
Kelly began with Sasser Construction in the summer of 2006 as an
administrative assistant. She was promoted to her current
position in the spring of 2008 where she is in charge of estimating,
procurement and warranty. Kelly is a native of Portsmouth where she currently resides
with her husband. Kelly and Clint are expecting their first
child in December.
Matthew Hovey –
Matt began his career with the Sasser Team in early 2004.
As a project manager, he manages all aspects of field construction
from foundation to completion. A craftsman by trade, Matt's
experience in home building dates back to 1990. He is a
resident of the Western Branch area of Chesapeake and is married
with one daughter and one son.
Brennan O’Connor, CPA –
Brennan serves as Chief Financial Officer of the Company. After gaining invaluable
experience in public accounting, specializing in commercial and residential construction,
and working in acquisitions with the nation’s largest plumbing distributor, Brennan
joined the Company in 2003. Brennan oversees the accounting functions of Sasser
Construction to ensure accurate and timely reporting of corporate results. Also, Brennan
interfaces with financial institutions and works with developers to maintain the
Company’s inventory of land. Brennan is a native of Tidewater and is married with
one son and one daughter.
Kenn Sedlacko, AIA – Kenn serves
as the in-house architect for the Company. After Kenn became registered in 1977, he began
his career in 1978 as a partner in a local architectural firm. Since this initial
position, Kenn has amassed 26 years experience in residential and light commercial
architecture. We are very fortunate that Kenn joined the Company as an employee after many
years working with us as a sub-contractor. Kenn is a native of Tidewater and is married
with one son.
Ray Street – Ray began his
residential construction career over 16 years ago working with his father’s framing
company. Ray continued in the framing business for 13 years until he joined Sasser
Construction as a job superintendent in 2001. As a result of Ray’s
excellent skills, he was promoted to project manager. Ray is a native of
Portsmouth.
Tina White, Allied Member, A.S.I.D.
– In 1992, Tina began a small decorating business out of her home. She found great
enjoyment in helping people make their homes nicer places to live in, so in 1997 she
rented a location and became more visible. After another expansion and numerous industry
awards, Tina is now under contract with Sasser Construction to assist all homeowners
select the colors and materials in their homes. |
